Empowering Lives Through Compassionate Support
Fajr Horizons is committed to supporting formerly incarcerated Muslims and individuals in need by offering essential services grounded in Islamic values—restoring dignity, hope, and a sense of purpose to their lives.
We provide essential support to help formerly incarcerated Muslims and those facing hardship successfully reintegrate into the community with dignity and stability.
Housing Assistance
While Fajr Horizons is not currently able to provide housing directly, it remains one of our top priorities. Our goal is to establish safe, stable, and supportive housing options for formerly incarcerated Muslims and those in need. We are actively working toward building partnerships and securing resources to make this vision a reality, in shā’ Allāh.
Food Support
Fajr Horizons is committed to ensuring that those in need have access to halal food. While we do not operate a food pantry at this time, we assist individuals in applying for food stamps (SNAP), provide grocery store gift cards when available, offer transportation to stores, and connect people with local food banks, always prioritizing halal options. Our goal is to make sure no one goes hungry while maintaining the integrity of their faith.
Transportation Services
Fajr Horizons offers reliable transportation for those in need, including rides to the Masjid, probation or parole offices, grocery stores, and medical appointments. Our goal is to remove barriers and ensure every individual can meet their essential needs with dignity and ease.
Hygiene and Clothing Assistance
Fajr Horizons strives to restore dignity by helping individuals access basic hygiene items and modest clothing. We provide care packages with essentials such as soap, toothpaste, deodorant, and other personal care items, as well as gently used or new clothing when available. Through donations and community support, we aim to meet these fundamental needs with compassion and respect.
At Fajr Horizons, every act of service creates a ripple of hope. Through the support of our community, we’ve been able to assist formerly incarcerated Muslims and others in need with essential resources like shelter, meals, transportation, clothing, and spiritual guidance.
Each life we touch is a step toward breaking cycles of hardship and building a stronger, faith-centered future. With the help of donors, volunteers, and advocates, we are turning challenges into opportunities and isolation into belonging.
